The challenge

Due to a disparate and complex technology estate, Kurt Geiger faced challenges maintaining communication across its stores and warehouses. With their teams busy focusing on growth plans, they needed a modern technology estate that supported a bigger operation and began a new phase of digital transformation.

Because of Kurt Geiger’s gravitas and their global operation, to meet the high expectations set for their luxury brand, a robust connectivity and telephony solution was paramount in creating a seamless in-store experience for staff and customers alike.

The solution

Focus Group understood that for a company of Kurt Geiger’s size, we would need to analyse the brand’s needs across their cloud, networking and security requirements, tailoring their solution accordingly.

To achieve this, Focus Group created a common technology blueprint for Kurt Geiger, standardising their technology across their stores, including the design and management of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) in AWS for their new cloud-based network.

We then designed and deployed a modern Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, LAN and WiFi solution, as well as a new LG cloud telephony estate.
